STRIVE offers employers quality. Our service is solely limited to employee development. One of our main goals is to reduce employment turnover rates within various companies and agencies. Having this goal in mind constantly, we strive to impart into our participants (future employees) the need to think differently and attitudinal adjustment. STRIVEs program is becoming a common requirement for employment in the job market. We believe that attitude has everything to do with a persons approach to everything. We understand that attitude development and professionalism are important to employers therefore we instill these truths into our participants all throughout the program.
STRIVE is a non-profit organization and we offer a wide variety of services to employers. To reduce the employee turnover and increase job retention, we provide a number of in-service trainings to employers seeking assistance with current employees and barriers to job performance and success. To ensure such success, these in-service trainings focus on attitude adjustment, addressing issues of tardiness, preparation for emergency situations that may arise, preparation for child care and other outside appointments, calling in to employers, and various other issues. We offer employers training for their current employees as well as placement services for our trained graduates. The most unique aspect of STRIVEs service is its focus on attitude, attitudinal training and development.

STRIVEs three-week workshop focuses on attitudinal and job readiness skills. Positive attitude and attitudinal changes that zero in on unwanted behaviors and create desirable ones such as flexibility, honesty, attractiveness, and patience are taught. This focus is a central philosophy of the STRIVE approach. Creating and refining these positive attributes has substantial impact on placement and retention. Our training purposes provide graduates with the following skills in the 21st century: teamwork, conflict resolution skills, and taking ownership for their actions.
STRIVE screens their graduates and refers only the most compatible employees for an interview. We also offer continued support to the graduate in the way of additional counseling to get them back on track.
